I was puzzled by photo in this month’s YM (August 20), page 34, supposed to be showing an AIS display of a very crowded Solent. On closer inspection it is in fact showing the Singapore Straits! Not that it effects the article. Just being pedantic.

Yes, a curious choice of picture. Perhaps Gosport is going to be renamed Singapore on Solent By Bozo?

Surely just a picture of Osborne bay in lockdown. Is it true you can walk across Newtown creek this weekend without touching water as someone created a boat raft?

The residents of prinstead are becoming increasingly fed up with creative car parking. I think they need some Devonian police tactics down there to stop the immigrants from out of county.

It’s not too busy this morning - only about 20 yachts or so this morning. Also calmer than usual with fewer ships
