It's all going to plan, downhill, as usual. The EA brain cell must be in your area this week :p

.....according to the press release Peel Ports will also employ something that will go under Aylesford Bridge to collect rubbish.
Rubbish accumulates mainly between the old medieval bridge and Allington Lock, moving up and down with the tide until the winter floods eventually washes it all downstream out into the esturary.

Drove past the little marsh at Borstal just below MBM, totally inundated .
A lot of stuff visable mid stream.
Always regard the big tides and winter flood waters as bit of a spring clean.

Wanted to get friends boat back into MDL Chatham a week or two ago.
Asked by the lock office to go away for an hour until the tide had dropped a bit.

Sadly, nothing of use has arrived via the Medway Chandlery Fred, very dissapointing.

Hoping to nip round to fuel pontoon and lay claim my winter fuel allocation .
Will need a test run out to check everything works, always on the look out for fenders, will wave as we pass.
