Thank you, really bring to find a Magma bbq secondhand or similar, don't want to spend £200 aah!

Buy a cobb if you want something you can use under shelter. The magma are great for hotter climates but your cobb can used under cover and the outside does get hot etc so you can also take ashore.

+1 for the Cobb. One of the few things we took off the boat when we sold it.
Shop around for the bricks though.

The bricks for the cobb are quite scarce so if you buy a cobb lay a good stock in if interested in serious roasting etc . Also be aware there are some out there selling copycat cobb bricks which don’t light apparently so like anything be careful if you are offer too good to be true.

Re Cobb bricks. They were in Lakeland at a reasonable price last season. Get a good blowtorch lighter anyway. A little meths can help things along.
