Could someone kindly identify this tiny island community for me?

What a helpful bunch we can be at times - nothing seems to be too much trouble to us.
I always wonder why people - especially the zoyderburgs amongst us as such questions.
Do they really want to know or do they already know and are testing us?

Scots think they were badly treated but they were never forced to live crammed so close together in a barren little island like that.

I wonder if that is where Tord came from
very friendly with a not very English fookball manager if I remember correctly.
Didn't think he'd have an island named after him though...

Could be Bardowie or Mugdock then?

It's certainly not Craigallian Loch, for my father AND grandfather were regulars at The Fire. And I was taken, as a wee boy, to visit.

No, I really want to know where the island is.... and someone has given it a name, further down the page. I'm grateful, for now I'll have a think about adding it to the places I'd like to visit.

Apparently, it's around the corner from Molde, and a convenient distance from Lerwick.

Same, but different (slightly larger):
Åstol
Strange place. We were invited into someone's house for tea when we first went 20 yrs ago. It seems to have something of a religious aura and in spite of the friendliness we found nearby Store Dyren more relaxing, as well as harbouring crazy golf. Vinga is another quaint island. I always wonder why all these islands have a cleft.
