As I see it, "Classics" are not only about performance, but also confort and looks.

What of all the hard work you have put in your boat makes your the happiest??

what makes me the happiest is the fact I haven't been sectioned yet and carted off to the funny farm

I like the fact that I potter around the boat on a weekly basis.If you call fitting new hatches, re wiring, fitting new electronics, servicing the engines etc pottering.
It does give a nice glow to feel that it is getting more and more to what I want. Even if my bak account isn't!!

The peeling varnish doesn't make me feel so good though......

Likewise, I am proud of every screw I replace, but then the wife comes as sweet as always and says: "Is that it???"....
