No, I think with bubble wrap it might look as if I'm a bit soft. So I'll just head off and if any sight of rain or mist I'll high tail it back to the mooring and say something like "My sails have blown up" or something hard like that.
I think there may be a few red faces in the morning when unwrapping charts of far flung shores and swiss army knives given by well wishers and loved ones in the hope that they may help to see the lone sailor through the coming ordeal, and you have to explain that you did not realise it may be overcast, or god forbid - drizzle. What good is a swiss army army knife or an epirb in drizzle.
