Apparently kit not available now, and nearly the same price as a new pump. Fingers crossed the one I've ordered is a straight swop

That seems to be the modern way, suppliers stop anything be user serviceable.

I fitted this today
Volvo Penta 2003 Fuel Lift Pump
The unsealed version.
Went on reasonably easily.
The right side rigid fuel pipe was a couple of mm out but I got it on by fitting it while the pump housing was only loosely bolted to the engine.
Looks like solid kit, reasonably priced.
I bled the engine via the fuel filter and she started fine. No visible fuel leaks after a half hour of running.
Fingers crossed it stays that way.
