Volvo TAMD 73/74 and 75 ECU - Cause for concern?

Programming is not nessesary.
Why do you ask?
I can do that if necessary.
That is if flash memory is bad.
Most fault is ic components. I have all in stock.
Some edc have prosessor fault...it is very rare, but I also have those in stock.

I Just repair electronics and do not earn alot of money by repair those. But i like to fix units instead of buy new. Thats is what we all see now....Right to repair.

Sorry for late answer.
Those edc1 units repaired get new components that will last +20 years.
They are same as originals. Some are from year 2000, and other from 2023.
Many components are very common todays electronic. What is old stuff is prosessor inside this edc1 unit. Its like a very old 486 computer from year 1998.
Anyway this prosessor do the Job easy to the very simple Job to belonging engines made by Volvo Penta . KAD engines. TAMD engines.

Codes are/have been 2.7 , 7.2. , 6.4. on my TAMD 75p. (2006).

Check if you have an SPM fitted , if so check the plugs , if problem persists disconnect the SPM by placing the wiring loom back to standard , SPM will be at the lower helm.
