complete ready to fit, mounting bracket, hard and soft sun covers, power data cable, linked to SR 161 AIS receiver with cable connection to PC and own power cable.
1metre VHF cable to VHF Splitter (inc)
cable from splitter to VHF.
just plug into your VHF and supply 12v that’s it.
brilliant bit of kit.
fully working when removed.
postage at cost or pick up Southampton.
£180 for the lot.

as far as I am aware it is not programmable for an MMSI no.
that is to do with the VHF you are connecting it to.

Those were my thoughts also, just that the point was raised by another.
Also as far as I am aware MMSI numbers can be changed, i recall buying a 2 hand phone sent it away to be changed to my number.
Is the unit complete and ready for installation with all the bits required, if so i will commit to purchase.

MMSI no’s can be changed on your VHF usually via manufacturer/dealer, I have had it done in the past.
yes all the bits are included as well as installation instructions, just connect power and connect to VHF via short lead from splitter.

In addition, while the Vesper 650 is an excellent little device - best practical AIS display in its day, though the plotter manufacturers have started to catch up since - the SR 161 receiver included in this package looks to be a basic single-channel device. That’ll make it seem much less sensitive and slower to resolve targets, as it will miss 50% of messages compared to a proper two-channel unit.

Still not a bad deal overall.
