I think the summaries and round-ups have been fantastic and we must be grateful for all the good work in them putting together, but I just wish the skippers would do more SHOW not tell. Most reports are talking in the cockpit enclosures - at times it feels like they could be in the marina, and while the reports can be interesting of themselves, one longs to see a sail change, a gybe or tack, a view of the seascape forwards not aft. I could go on. There have been notable exceptions, Pip has tried hard to show whats going on (but I cant recall a sail change or manoeuvre) and some notable mast-climbing actions but... . Am I being unrealistic?
