And Jean Le Cam is still charging, with a faster VMG than all the 7-8 beside/ahead of him. I see him having a sound chance of clawing up to 3rd or 4th by the time they're through the latitude of the Cape Verdes.... and halfway across the NE Trades.

Out of the doldrums and it Apivia and Bureau Vallee have stolen a march on the rest of the fleet. Possibly one more high pressure to negotiate otherwise a sleigh ride back to Les Sables.
