I wondered that too. And dropped from 3rd to 6th on leaderboard - and in terms of distance sailed from Les Sables more like 10th or so, dropping behind the leaders. Hope only a temporary blip.HB only doing 5knts according to the 2100 report anyone know why?
They are going upwind. Alex has made no secret of the fact that they have optimised for downwind more than the other boats. No cause for alarm yet.Definitely dropping back through the fleet. His boat is being passed by arguably ‘slower’ boats. Fingers crossed there aren’t any problems.
Yes, now they've crossed that front and borne away Hugo Boss and Apivia are reeling in the early leaders.Wow! From a tricky start, Alex could well be in the lead in 20 hours time by my calculations. Fingers crossed.
absolutely ,, ( i have done best part of 3 days myself but not racing !! ) and he doesnt even seem to have a chair to sit in !! ( cost cutting i supposeAccording to his website Alex has only had 15 minutes of sleep in nearly 3 days. Mad!
whats the weather like ?and im only a mile behind him (in the virtual race)
The boat identifies itself as 'RB3SOLOSAILOR', MMSI 232023378Anyone know what the MMSI number for Hugo Boss is, I can't see it on Marine Traffic even it is is out of range no vessel shows up with that name, is Hugo Boss a pseudonym?
