Just prop up the mattress in the daytime with a locker top, tool such as a hacksaw, anything handy, removing it if someone needs to sit down there; not too difficult to sort !

Its the stuff we have as well. It works pretty well and we have curved it up between the mattress and the side of the boat as well - like others.Anyone with experience of this?

We have that under the beds - never any condensation/damp under the mattress, even on the coldest of nights Not cheap, but it works.
