We are looking for someone to join our crew fulfilling the charterers requirements for an additional person on board who can take charge of the boat (Oceanis 36) in the event of the skipper becoming incapacitated. Any additional/added skills very welcome.

A bit of background to the event. The charity regatta takes place in the Solent from 7th -11th May 2023. It is open to all Blue light services. We are one of the 5 London Ambulance Service entries. The financial contribution works out at about £300-£400 per person (crew of 8). This covers yacht charter, race entry, mooring fees, most food.
The basic itinery is:-
Sunday 7th - travel to the Hamble in the afternoon and take over the boat, Probably dinner at a local pub.
Monday 8th - practice day. Moor up in Cowes, evening in the CCYC
Tuesday 9th - Series racing part 1. Moor up in Yarmouth, evening in the Royal Solent YC
Wednesday 10th - Series racing part 2. Moor up in Cowes, evening Gala dinner in Cowes
Thursday 11th - Passage back race. Return to Hamble and travel home.

So race all day, beer all night - what's not to like. PM me for more info if you are interested.
