This is our little pool and Inflatable hot tub. The pool is a Doughboy and the hot tub (that needs a little air in the pic) from Lazy Spa. All simple very reasonably priced, easily DIY able and very cheap to run (unless you leave the hot tub on 24/7 which is a little stupid)

I even have cheap temp sensors so I can see the pool water temp on my phone anywhere I might be. I moved the steps to a better location during lockdown when I built what we call the Hobbit hole.

Also below is a screen shot from the app re the temp monitoring. We dont like the pool too hot and generally like it at 78 degrees f
My pool is a doughboy 24x12 too - small world!

I sunk it half in and half our of the ground for safety reasons too, then heavily modified it with composite decking to prettify the tops and sides.

I'll dig out some pictures.

Various piccies. I now have a UV filter which works superbly. The water is very, very clean and crystal clear...

19Kw heatpump keeps a steady 29 degrees in the pool. 19" Tagaelus sand filter for cleaning. Heat recovery unit to refresh the air daily and a dehumidifier that can pull 80 Litres of moitsure per day means that I will be able to use the pool all year around.

Boy did it rain here, in a matter of minutes it filled the pool to over flowing, this is the one thing that can give me a headache, the rain introduces contaminants and dilutes the salt in the pool

I watched the overflow for a few minutes then thought oh get a pic so this is not the height of the overflow.
