Situated just beyond the Divers pub.

Well patronised when we visited on a Thursday night and excellent pizzas where one gets to chose from a long list of toppings

A long time ago, not the present proprietors, I hasten to add, we had a meal at the Moorings which we pronounced 'grey'. Surprisingly enough, the waitress agreed with us, admitted the chef was drunk, AND GAVE US OUR MONEY BACK! Since then I have had a soft spot for the Moorings, and the view is sans pareil.

As an aside we visited the Divesr two years back and noted then that the food came from the same kitchen as the more expensively priced restaurant/hotel next door (so the same dish would be a couple of quid cheaper).

However that no longer appears to be the case.

We liked the Moorings. Lovely steaks served in the sunshine.

Anctually just realised that we went to the hotel next to the Divers.
