Pictures from her glory days - and the 40 years she spent mainly sitting idle in Conwy. She must have appeared in the background of a lot of people’s holiday photos between 1922 and 1962.

Congratulations on a terrific effort. She is clearly in good hands. There are so few motor yachts of that era extant, and she really was a beauty.

I'm guessing she might come out at carter and ward Rockford as they've got the ability to take out a boat that size and store it

Her stability curve might make interesting reading!

I recall sitting in The Anchor in Woodbridge more than thirty years ago with David East, the noted yacht broker, and the late Peter Brown. They were discussing a superyacht that Peter had recently “looked at” in the Med and Peter (who had designed the Fleur de Lys motor yachts) was very scathing indeed about her stability. So these things do happen!

Having had a nice lunch of a Rick Stein Mussle recipie, not to mention a couple of glasses of Sauvignon... I am not not sure if I have posted this link before..

Ginger Dot

Ok, Wood, but of you want to do it properly, brace yourselves.. My father was the guy standing on the wing. Health got in the light. At least he had it when it was half decent condition.

Some very familiar faces there. Kim and Tam to name two. I only knew about Ginger Dot from conversations in the pub.
