Teleflex Morse Handles

Hi All. I have a 1984 Catalac catamaran which is fitted with dual Teleflex Morse MNT - ST Standard engine controls, part number 313557-311. Unfortunately one of the handles is broken and i urgently need to find a replacement. I would be happy to replace both handles with some that will fit, if necessary. Unfortunately non of the current range of handles are compatible with this unit.

I am attaching 4 photos, the first showing the de-luxe version of the unit, the second my actual damaged unit. Unfortunately the casting does not lend itself to a repair. The third one shows the short shaft the handle is screwed onto from the end, which is 0.75" diameter, and has a tapered spline at the end. The 4th one is of another model of the same period which perhaps might be compatible.

Can anyone assist please?

most of the many controls on the market will do the job if replacing completely but the handles on their own are exclusive to your control mechanism
could you make a pair of handgrips from wood however
