Was wondering if the pier was accessible at low tide. There was no information about the depth there at the council website, and when I visited it it was high tide and locals didnt really know. I have friends living near so it would be great to pick them up from there.

Hi, we have stayed on Sun Pier over the low water with no problem, 2m keel! Though more than a Covid year ago.

In East Coast Pilot, we say there's at least 2.5m on the outside at LW. This was info given to us by the owners, Medway Council. Not tested it myself. Bottom will be soft mud anyway, I'm sure.

Pretty sure it is still 'deep' off the pier. The bank to the left is shallow a long way out, and near the pier, so don't try approaching from that side at low water!
