Essex County Council said that the increase in testing "is obviously contributing to increasing case numbers."

They know it's true; I know it's true.
Here at the undertakers in South London we are starting to see community acquired cases again. That makes a big difference, think husband and wife from the same family, and their relatives don't seem to understand their obligation to quarantine. Up until now, (since the summer), it has been mostly hospital acquired cases, (expected deaths, labelled covid in palliative care). I think there will be a lot of deaths after Christmas mixing, and I really am going to leave this subject now.

Moving from hospital aquired cases, (the very frail), to community acquired, (supposedly healthy people), is a big deal, so I think it really would be best for us to postpone this argument until we see the facts come out in the next few weeks.
Hopefully it will get warmer soon and the effect will be less severe.
