Arrived back at Wivenhoe 11/08/08.

Took my time coming home stopping at various places along the way.

Got beaten up by a storm off Finistere. Stove in a front window and blew me down into Portugal.

Overall, I had a great time and learned a lot.

I would like to thank everyone involved for organising, advising, sailing, drinking, feeding, singing etc, and generally making JAC08 one of the best things I have done for a long time.

See you at the boat show / dinner, and there will probably be an East Coast meeting prior to that.

All the Best and Well Done Everyone!
Now I have to get on with paying for it all!

Cheers
Paul

You were certainly looking knackered when you called into the pontoon at St Peter Port!

Glad you have made it home

Regards

Chris

Hi Chris,

You were the first proper human being I had talked to for a bit.

I guess I might of looked a bit tired and emotional as St Peter Port was my first stop after Biscay.

Thanks for the chat - I needed a friendly face!

Cheers

Paul,

Very well done and good to hear you got back ok (via Ostend I presume ?). I think I got the relative calms after your storm. Looking forward to that beer and the stories soon !!

That very gallant of you Alan. However, it may simply be that my volume control is at a higher setting than yours. Or even that my bottle qoutient is lower!

Who's to say?

Everyone safe is the main thing.

Paul

PS: Yes: Ostende, Trondheim, Reykyavik is your nominated route. Good Luck!
