Seen in Ipswich basin today. Stunning. Battery powered too.

Out of proportion IMHO. Stern overhang too long, bow snubbed, and not enough spring in the sheerline. You need Alfred Mylne to see how it should be done.

The Spirit is pretty nasty down below too.

Was told by one of the designers she needs a big tide to get out of the basin, then will have to wait to clear the bridge.

Then you've got planar sheer. If you could turn the boat upside down at the right angle the sheerline would touch a straight surface for its entire length. Most boats have planar sheer because it looks right from all angles. For further explanation Bob Perry on Design is a good read for fellow sailing anoraks.

Perhaps you would like to inform the forum how many yachts you have designed and sold.
Or were you just having a bad day ?

It's not a boat I know much about but isn't the little one an Illusion? They used to race them on a reservoir I once sailed. The skipper/navigator/sail trimmer/deck hand lies down and pretends to be a 12-metre.
