Sold IDs

I am a little puzzled.

Surely we have not registered or invented user names or passwords specifically for the Classic boat forum.
We are users of the YBW.com forums. Aren't we?

So just whose IDs, passwords etc have been sold as part of the deal. All YBW.com forum users ? Or have they identified those who have used the CB forums and just sold those.

Does that (now) include me ?

Seems so, and IPC haven't denied it.

People who don't visit Classic forum won't even know it's been done, or that there is an opt-out facility. At very least, a warning should be posted in the other main forums.

Maybe they have taken the view that it's like selling a business and giving the new owner a list of customers; part of the 'goodwill' of the business, perhaps?
