I only went for it due to the possibility of French authorities getting funny about my RYA certs should I travel there and be unlucky enough to get some grumpy gendarme type inspecting my boat papers. As things go with Brexit and the Pandemic I now have no desire at all to go to France this year. You are right, there is no need to have it for UK waters at all.Thanks. Looks like it has no advantage for UK boating.
Not according to previously linked to RYA page which states 'Not required' for Ireland.Southern Ireland EU, would think ICC required, but stand to be corrected
As already posted above:costal waters - most eu require it for inland waters I believe
