Having dropped back to my original role as support driver, I will bring along a works van and will put my Boardman Hybrid in in case anyone has a major breakdown.

I can load a decent tool kit, and will be pleased to carry anyone's bag plus any other spares you may wish to bring along.

Finally I expect to leave Hamble around 6.30 - 7 AM on Saturday, and will have two seats and plenty of room for bikes available.

Anyone wanting a lift to the start from the approx route from Hamble to the M3 let me know soonest please.

Seats first come first served.

Brilliant Trevor. You will be hugely required resource on the day. Unfortunately I am coming down from oooop North rather than the sarf, so will not need the lift.

Many thanks Trevor, much appreciated.

I will be heading up the M3 around the same time with SWMBO in a van to deliver me to the start line and also take a big tent thing for the start line.

On that point, any chance I could ask you go give Mrs Z1ppy a hand taking it down after we all leave and reloading it to her van? It needs to come back down to OV to be set up again?

I have a track pump i will bring along to help inflate any punctures en route and a few other bits too.

In similar vein we will be driving up from Fareham to the start with a spare cycle carrier on the roof and a spare seat in the car if anybody needs a lift. (I don't know the exact arrangements for getting home yet.)

Likewise, I'll be heading from Oop Norf to Penton Hook, and will have to work out how to get back.... have already checked trains which is a definite option, and looks very viable!

International rescue (Lady Rafiki) is going to meet me at OV. We then aim to hop over to Portishead to spend the night on Rafiki, and have a chill day on board on Sunday. I am taking the train down on Friday to meet Gary at PH.

Paul & Kerry have the seats from Swanwick.

Happy to help take the tent down.

Also happy to carry any stuff needed carrying.

I will pick up some bottled water tomorrow - I reckon it might be needed.
