The nylon (?) bow/anchor roller on our yacht is falling apart - it is 33 years old and I guess the UV has damaged it. Any suggestions where I could buy or have another one made (at a reasonable cost)? (approx dimensions 90mm across, 75mm widest diameter, 55mm narrowest diameter)

Any engineering workshop shop can turn you one in nylon, stainless or some type of composite. As long as you have the original to take the dimensions from it is an easy job for someone with a lathe and the right type of bar stock to make it from.

You could even buy a short cylinder of Delrin/acetal online and take it to local jobbing engineer. As long as they have turned plastics before, you'll be fine. Everyone needs a friend with a lathe.

Or you may be lucky and find one ready made that is close enough but it can be torture.
