Brilliant run round on Thursday ie. really really boring....then we came round the north foreland.
An interesting hour down to harbour.
Very pleased to get in .
Course within an hour it was like a blimming mill pond.
RNLI towed in a yacht that had gone aground in Sandwich Bay.
We passed a narrow boat on the way round.??

Same here OG. Left Lowestoft early Thursday and the 'Holes' got bigger the further we went. Put into Harwich and took a plod up to Pin Mill for a comfort break and when we came out conditions had eased considerably. Made Brightlingsea in around 7 hours and 158 Litres of the red liquid. Trip from Brightlingsea to Mudway was carried out on glassy calm and a sedate pace of 10 knots at 2200 rpm. Hardly touched the fuel gauge. Trip to Norfolk Broads and back 298 miles covered 498 litres burnt.

Popped up to Allington on Thursday for 3 days.
EA chaps rustled me up a mooring with a bit of power .
Usually occupied by a Corniche but we squeezed in.
Three glorious days.
Had the grandkids and half dozen of their mates aboard.
Now back home for some peace and QUIET.
So far had fortnight on the Thames a quicky to Ramsgit and a few days above the lock.
Plans for Conyer and St Kats and mebbe an East Coast trip, just a shame it so blimming boring looking at Essex, dull is not half of it.

In Kent you can actually see signs of civilisation on the shore.
We have got Whitstable, Reculver Towers and Margate to admire , Essex boasts Foulness and the odd derelict radio mast ?
