I'm trying to tie down a couple of maritime quotations that i've forgotten the exact words to:
* one from Des Sleightholme about the numerous varieties of mud that he was familiar with (similar to Eskimos and their snow lexican).
* one from an Admiral about not wishing to lose a ship before breakfast since it gets the day off to a bad start.
If anyone knows the quotations could they remind me of the proper text and source so I can sleep easily tonight. It may also give others a smile.
