If anyone is headed this way both the pontoons at Dale are in position but the Mackerel stage pontoon that is normally outside Milford Docks is still in the dock.
Haven't been up as far as Burton yet no great incentive with the Pub shut.

Quiet and actually very pleasant in Milford marina tonight. The marina is open for overnight stays for berth holders from Wales. This is a contrast to the lockdown last year when they kept the facilities closed to anyone but liveaboards.

there was a rumour the pub was doing takeaway beers but that isn’t happening probably because it would be pushing it.

Last year we picked up a mooring in the bay between Dale and the gas terminal, in the north of the Haven. Probably not good with south in the wind but great in a north westerly.

I think those are the moorings put down to discourage people anchoring in that particular bay for ecological reasons. We haven't used those as yet .There are so many Bays you can shelter in and if it gets really wild we hide in the marina .

After we saw you at CBYC last year, we headed down to the Haven. We did the same as you, anchoring most of the time, picked up moorings in Lawrenny and that bay, before heading for Lundy and back to the Solent. We headed for the marinas when it blew up a bit! I've always enjoyed the Haven, it was Hilary's first visit and she loved it too. We plan to go back.

They are doing takeaway beers in Saundersfoot where my son lives. Says it’s rammed with lots of people drinking in the street. Horrible. What a crazy idea to open holiday lets but not pubs and restaurants.
