Paint Advice

Just bought on old clinker punt, its a registered fishing boat. i need to burn back inside and repaint but wondered if anyone has any idea what the best options are with modern paints. want something easy to maintain rather than making it look too pretty. Probably go with Jotun alkyd for the top coat as that has been working well for me in my other work boats. Really need to know what to use for the primer coats. Limitations are that I'm working outdoors on a beach.

Jotun Vinyguard is recommended I think. Maybe phone SML as they are the manufacturer/importer for Jotun in the UK.

Late reply but I did speak to sml just after posting this and they said 2 coats of vinyguard would be fine as is so I'll go with that. Bought a gallon from them a while ago so should have enough to do this little punt.
