If you are like me and get annoyed at being charged £28 in the Solent, or over £40 for Poole can I suggest Carentan. Cost me just £12 this weekend lots of space only about 10 UK boats, and eating out is far better and cheaper than UK. Don't be put off by the scare mongering pilot books, the entrance is easier than Cowes, over 3.5m this weekend +- 1hr HW

Glad you liked it Brian. It's a lovely spot and as you say very reasonable. The cost to keep a boat there annually is a mind bogglingly low price compared to the Solent.
