My Dad had a painting of her that was given to him by Captain Stan Banand who was her Captain for some years, think he may have commisioned her when new. He was a fascinating character who went to sea as a boy on an iron clipper got his masters ticket in square riggers & went into steamships not long before WW1, Went into the Orient line & retired in 1958 as Commodore. Got torpedoed once in WW1 & twice in WW2.
He lived a few doors down from us & dad & i often visited him & it was an education!
