Wandering through the for sale adds came across a boat I used to own,’Selene’ built by Mashfords pre war and sister ship to Felicity Ann the boatAnn Davidson crossed the Atlantic in 1953.Who ever had it had fitted a new keel stepped mast and taken out the Stuart Turner engine and fitted an outboard which is a shame.I bought it in 1976 for 1,500 pounds and sold her for 3,000 pounds in 1979,she is now for sale in Mallorca for 9,500 euros,so someone sailed her from the Isle of Wight sometime…..further than I managed?
