A tantalising test Roger.
I can’t make the pieces of land come out right but here’s my best guess:
Besom Fleet (in the foreground), Cobmarsh Island, Mersea Quarters, Quarters Spit, N Channel, Great Cob Island, South Cahnnel, Shinglehead Point, The Blackwater, and Stone St Lawrence in the distance?
Taken from somewhere in W Mersea?
Salcot Channel and Sunken Island may be lost in there somewhere… confusing to say the least…

Its the distortion of a zoom lens.

Besom Fleet - correct
Cobmarsh Island - correct (the 'fellow' is one of the military sculptures that had previous been placed around the Strood. they were then auctioned for charity and a number are now positioned around the island)
Mersea Quarters - correct
Quarters Spit - aka Old Hall Point
North Channel and South Channel but I think the tiny bit of land is part of Old Hall rather than Great Cob Island
Then Shinglehead
Then Thirstlet Creek (don't let's debate the speeling)
Then the River Blackwater (It's NOT a RIVER, its a Ria)
Then Ramsey Island!
Then Essex!

So there actually 6 bits of water but I counted it as the 'Tollesbury' channels
