Has anyone been there since the facilites were refurbished? How Much? Any Good?

I live in Lymington and have been watching the redevelopment with interest. It is running three months behind schedule much to the chagrin of the local traders. The landside things like showers, etc aren't complete yet, they look quite impressive from the outside but they are still under construction internally. The car park and approaches are nearly finished. I can't comment on the waterside facilities other than to note that the quay is as busy as ever. Last night there were about 20 craft rafted up.

We were there a couple of weeks ago and it is as above re the facilities - they look as if they will be good when they are finished.

The pontoon is the same one as before and the prices to the harbour master have only gone up slightly - £6.50/night for 24 ft - no indications yet on charges for using showers etc.

Main alterations are to the quay wall, which has been rebuilt, and improved seating, surfacing etc. on the top of it.
