Just downloaded the Grib data for next Weds - currently looks like we may get North Easterlies or Easterlies for our crossing over - hopefully South Easterlies for coming back ...
Looks quite light winds at the moment though ....

I think the 302 knots will be the count of how many you've tied sitting bored in 5 knots of wind .... !!

This morning Windguru was suggesting 16-20kts SW and this afternoon suggested 5-6kts NW ... wait to see what the morning brings!! ;)

Windguru is showing a weak W wind backing to S on Friday. Some rain in the afternoon. Sunday very weak W wind backing all the way around to ENE, but sunny.

That's for Barfleur.

Doesn't look too promising for good sailing. Better have full diesel tanks.
