The French may have stolen 'The Fastnet Race' from RORC, but the ever-creative Royal Western have invented a 'clone' - the 'Lonely Rock Race'....

That's for boats of 30 - 60 feet and willing to fork out the fees, of course. ( £400 - £1400 )

Those with boats under 30 feet will need to go 'Jestering'..... or 'SORC'ing. Cheapskates...!

Let me just remind folks that the next 'Jester' outing will be in '21, when the modest fleet will head off towards Baltimore..... insh'allah! Just for the craic.

Thereafter, those who remain willing will head off towards Terceira.
