I preferred the old system as it was trivial to get daily Ah. The newer system requires a bit more effort and is different for each option.PVGIS

I think that I use the "Grid Connected Option" and fudge things as follows:
1) Enter a 100W panel as 100kW (Results are in kWh but just read it as Wh and figures are correct
2) CSV file doesn't work too well with Excel but I just open in notepad and copy the data part, paste into a new notepad and replace " with nothing. The remaining data can be pasted into Excel
3) First column E_d is kWh (just read as Wh as mentioned) as calc. to convert to Ah (I usually take 13.5V as a rough est.)
You can stick to Wh but I find Ah quite useful as I know current in/out and usages. I know it's not as accurate as using W but it is good enough for this type of work.
