Lockkeeper

Has any-one else ever noticed a "floating" lockkeeper, about 35 -45, tanned with tash, looks a little like Yosser Hughes, around the Marlow Henley area..........is never off the phone! Sometimes has one phone to each ear! Is he the Shop Steward? as always seems to be talking "rights".

That is Simon. Relief Lock keeper for Marlow, Cookham & Temple.

At the end of shift he has the phone medically removed from his ear !

I had the privalige (?) of working as his Summer Assistant a few years back - very knowledgeable but he seems to rub people up the wrong way - especially E A management - hence he is still without his own lock

The lockkeeper at Caversham also seems to have her phone permanetly fixed to her ear. Perhaps she is talking to Simon!
