FAKE NEWS, in this regard, is that which is posited by organisations, media, etc., that is repeated on the forum, or used to support personal opinion/hypothesis posted by users - FAKE NEWS is not necessarily the personal opinion/hypothesis being posted in itself, any issues with such should be challenged respectfully.
Two points if I may....
1) The closed season for coarse fish runs 15/3 to 15/6 INCLUSIVE - so no coarse fishing until AM on 16th June. And pike are coarse fish, so that includes pike.
2) The public power at the local locks hereabouts is now on again. Yipee!
Check out the latest HM notice issued late today for updates on public power switch on.I heard power was back on but not sure if that is River wide or just localised to certain areas.
Certainly good news if true as powered operation will help prevent damage to lock gates.
