What size would be suitable for down wind sailing on. Thirty footer.Variable angle control would obviously be useful with wind not directly astern and ability to feather would be great. From a very crude calculation I reckon I could watch East Enders running in the trades, sitting in the cockpit.

The sky, the clouds, the waves and watching the seabirds.

I maybe stupidly returned to this thread.

For a couple of Christmas trips we stayed at a ‘tired’ hotel, once with my parents but in a great location.

It changed hands but we thought we’d give it a chance. All modern ikea style. Screen doors replaced so you couldn’t listen to the ocean and wildlife anymore as doors and windows had to be closed all the time. No curtains, proper fireplaces removed.

Obviously won’t happen now anyway but we agreed we won’t be going back.

Whilst I love getting spoiled with food and service at times a good truck stop cafe is more fun and proper food.
