Nice pictures! The top one looks more like London Gateway than Tilbury. Bottom one looks like Thurrock - you can make out the QE2 bridge & the (now demolished) chimney at Littebrook power station, but the giveaway is the Cobelfret in Fiddler's Reach.
I won't argue about #2 - if you say it's Dungeness then I'll take your word for it!

My father also had a halcyon 27 bought in 1969 but after two seasons he sold it and bought a hull and deck of a freeward I think he had more fun fitting out than sailing?
