I would love to see twelve boar at the top of the mast. I think you meant 12 bore as in shotgun.

One of five bird species with a population of over a billion, according to my paper the other day, along with the house sparrow, the ring billed gull, and a couple of others I don’t recall, unless one of them was the red-billed quelea.

The Thames barge photos were on the Orwell this afternoon. The sunset was whilst anchored in Hamford Water. I entered the Walton Backwaters about 40 minutes before low water and went down to 0.2m under the keel on the approach, jus another typical day on sailing on the East Coast.

When I saw that picture, my first thought was that it was either a couple bonking in the long grass, or the photographer took so long setting the camera to the correct focus, the cow got fed up & buggered off
