Several of the 'Jesters' have left Terciera and are heading home. This received from Julien Tipat, en route to La Gironde.

He has 12 more hours of high winds then calming down to the extent that the last few days in the Bay of Biscay will be very slow with cyclonic light winds. Perhaps an anti-climax after the adrenaline rush of the last few days?"


It may be remembered he was inspired to enter from respect for Major 'Blondie' Haslar, who led the 'Cockleshell Heroes' raid on German shipping in the Gironde.
