It was an unsung story of heroism over the weekend but DJE and Mrs DJE dragging enough booze to sink a destroyer down the Pontoon was a stirring sight. Like watching Scott courageously Sledge Hauling himself into immortality. Made me proud to be British. Sorry I didn't get to talk to you DJE - our last encounter was standing by a beached Westerly at East Head, and I was hoping to catch up.

DJE and Mrs DJE dragging enough booze to sink a destroyer down the Pontoon was a stirring sight.

Timed that a bit wrong; forgot to take the tide tables to the supermarket and came back at low water.
The 12 trolleys at the top of the P pontoon ramp weren't all mine honest. Scilly Pete made the mistake of being first back from Carrefour and so he was the only one not to get his Euro back!
