From the Henley Standard front page this week. Bought by ex commodore of the Thames Vintage Boat Club & current co chairman of the Traditional Boat Festival.

He has the (Bill?) Rose collection from Shiplake of skiffs & punts etc. Good news for the Trad Rally too I suspect, for years with Tony Hobbs we could direct boats coming by road to the Rally to the Wargrave Road site for free launching, but that wasn't possible I understand in recent years. But if you kept a GRP cruiser there, and have it craned out for the winter I hope you'd be able to continue to do so, which the full article implies you can.

He is only going to use the centre part of the shed, the existing business and Hobbs storage etc.. are leased back, so no change for boaters for now.
