Robinson Cruise O had been marrooned on the Island for weeks, waiting for the new parts for his Volsplutter engines. In his boredom, he'de even ventured inland and made quite good friends with the Cowes, there being no one else there of any interest.

But Robinson Cruise O was bored and after pulling the two Volsplutter engenes, to bits three times, was looking for a bit of recreation.....

Off he went to The Kings Folly, but being a Saturday night, all of the benches were full of subjects (and wenches) performing the ritual dance off of the floor. So onwards he went, passing the Harbour of Islands and the incredible rusting hulk, up past the Medina of Quays, the worshippers of Brothers Brake, until he found himself in the faraway kingdom of that place that becomes mud twice daily......I am far from the sea he said, what shall I do????

Robinson Cruise 0 slumped into the uzzing mud, quite knackered after his long walk. He had not been terabley impressed with the beer he bought in the Folly, it must have been one of last weeks real ale special offers. Maybe Ramsbottom special delight, but he could not remember really. Robinson Cruise 0 drifted into a restless dreamy sleep, enveloped in the uzzing mud, quite warm really as it was mid summer. The tide was beginning to turn and Julie a buxom wench from the other side was trying to control the new batch of forum trainees. First she'd tried YM then Day skipper, all to no avail. So she'd taken them skinny dipping at Brothers break, on the grounds that they would not have far to fall and if they could not swim, they could always walk away....

However I have a nice Baritone voice and did play Arac in Princess IDA at school wearing a long black beard and a suit of armour

very soon, robinson cruso realised that it was near christmas so how about a nice panto. Obviously "robinson crusoe - the story" wd be a bit hopelss as a panto cos sod all happens for several years, and then he goes home, so not much chance of a big cast or any laughs at at all. He walked into town to find several theatres, all which were showing pantomimes and slunk in the back way to find himself at the back of the stage...

Snow white and seven dwarves + Robinson Crusoe as well

sure enough, robinson crusoe had walked into the annual ybw christmas panto. It was all a bit of a mess, as depsol was trying to fix up some of the wooden bits of props and jezsbanks was trying to be helpful towing things around whilst the panto was going. Nonetheless the show was proceeding very well, especially since tcm had very ably made a quite whizzy Talking Mirror with a special copper frame of course.

"Mirror Mirror on the wall who is the fairest of us all?" said Powerskipper. Suddenly the temporary scrtiptwriter realised this meant that powerskipper had er gotten the wrong part cos it's the wicked queen who says that first off innit? Damn. Not to worry...

Re: Snow white and seven dwarves + Robinson Crusoe as well

...as years behind the helm solo had given Powerskip a split personality, so both evil and fair can be played with aplomb (as testified by so many students!)

'The fairest girly on all the forums, of Raggie and of Mobo' Replied the mirror, cleverly crafted by tcm, 'is probaly Pauline B - but for now I'll say it HLB, cause otherwise he'll get the hump.....'

and of course it was true. Oh yes it was. When seen from a distance (like, a few miles) hlb is at least as good looking as julie or anyone else. But powerskiper as accidentally old nasty queen decided she would go and duff up hlb, or poison him with a spinning wheel except that wd've been a different story, er oh yes, so it would have to be poisoning him with an apple. So, first of all she put the apple down his toilet, flsuhed it and the apple came back up no problem.

At that moment jimi came on stage and threw lots of fish at the audience for no reason whasoever, and the copper mirror peeled itself off the wall.

Re: Snow white and seven dwarves + Robinson Crusoe as well

To add to the confusion, and in a vein attempt to distract the already distracted audience from what could so easily become another toilet saga, GC1 burst onto the stage with a tale of daring do, sea monsters, adventure and woe. No one was knew if it were true, but everyone felt they recognised him and had seen him somewhere befor (though it has to be said not in tights as he was now!)

Robinson Cruise O meanwhile....

What about...

Since you've already taken my name in vain for this effort /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif, I hope you don't mind if I chime in.

Seems to me that "HMS Pinafore" provides a lot of potential for this year's effort. If you're a bit rusty on the plot and the lyrics, they're here: http://www.leoslyrics.com/albums/7273/

Re: Snow white and seven dwarves + Robinson Crusoe as well

meanwhile, robinson crusoe had discovered a large trolley backstage stacked high in custard pies. Feeling very hungry, he ate all the custard pies (actually, he "scoffed" the custard pies - you don't eat them) which ensured that there wouldn't be any custard pie fights this year which was probly a good job since some of the custard pie fights of the previous years got out of hand.

However, he did take the opportunity to throw the very last three pies at chrisE, jezbanks and jhr and since there were nomore pies there wasn't anything they could do about it, har har.
