"Dredge Pipe Tow

Mariners are advised on or around the 05 November 2021 the Multicat MCS Anneke (IMO number: 9570905) will tow a floating dredge pipe from Horsey Island (Hamford Water) to Mersea Harbour (see notice to mariners number 32 of 2021 for more information).

The floating pipeline will be towed in a loop with both ends attached to the MCS Anneke. The total length of the tow will not exceed 150m.
Movements within Harwich Haven Authority area of jurisdiction will be reported to Harwich VTS on VHF 71."

Towed in a loop! Gosh. Shame I have to go to the quacks tomorrow so I can't hang around and see.

So, looks like they are done adding material to Horsey Island.

It was impressive when they used the dredger where material flew through the air onto packing house island.

All done and dusted here at Walton.

Pipe and guard boat gone so it just remains to be seen what impact, if any, all of that extra spoil, has on Stone Point and the Walton Channel.
