Golden Dragon is safely home in Scarborough after logging 3489 nm, to a standing ovation from 'him on high' ie thunder, lightening, torrential rain and wind shifts that you just would not believe! (perhaps it was 'the other fellow' after all!) Good trip home until the western approaches where a F9 caught up with us and forced us to lie to parachute anchors for 2 days. Oh well at least I got to use them and very successful they were too.
I always knew that this trip would be a one off for me, withiout the wife I mean and Goldie is definitely set up for solo sailing. She must now be put up for sale ( Golden Dragon not the wife!) so anyone wanting a well proven boat ready to go again, get in touch. It would be lovely to see her do the 2010 Jester.
