This boom has been lying in a Brighton/Hove garden for 20 years but seems to be in OK condition. Seems a shame to send it to recycling without seeing if it could be useful to somebody.
Some pulleys missing. Gooseneck end looks like it has had a bang but is still square and the holes line up. The boom is straight. Very little corrosion. Mainsheet and kicker attachment points are sound.
New owner to collect from Hove.

Pity it is tapered at both ends, I presume this means it can not be shortened?
Don't bin it, take it to a nearby club boatyard and slide it under the fence, someone will find a use for some of the bits.
15' is long enough for a fllagpole for your Union flag, everyone down there will be flying one soon.

Hi GreenBarn.......I popped down today and measured up, unfortunately your boom appears to be quite a bit longer than I need i think because mine is a ketch rig, I didnt appreciate how much shorter my boom is. I'm not confident I could make a good job of shortening it so I'll have to pass. Sorry for the wait.

Kind regards.
